ANTENATAL

£70 HOME VISIT/£50 VIRTUALLY

A one-hour appointment to help you to get off to the best start on your breastfeeding journey. This will include but is not limited to the following:

prenatal woman

  • Learn how to hand express.

  • Learn how to collect and store colostrum.

  • Practice how to position baby at breast.

  • Learn the early feeding cues of babies and how to respond effectively. 

  • Learn signs of baby gaining weight and when baby needs urgent medical care.

  • Share your anxieties, expectations, fears, worries, excitement about breastfeeding and or becoming a Mother.

POSTNATAL

£150 HOME VISIT

An appointment that may take two hours in which a breastfeed is observed in the comfort of your own home. This will include the following:

  • All of the services included in the Antenatal package.

  • A full breastfeeding/feeding is observed, assessed and supported.

  • Recommendations of different breastfeeding positions will be discussed and practiced.

  • A feeding plan is discussed, documented, agreed and followed up in time to ensure breastfeeding, baby’s weight and health is going in the right direction.

  • A space to talk about the realities of having baby in arms, whatever this may look and feel like to you, a new mother.

  • FREE Pocket IBCLC for the first week postpartum.

  • Only £65/hour follow up appointment until January 2025 (usually £80/hour)!

YOUR VILLAGE IBCLC

£320

Unique to Milk Like No Other, we will become your ‘Village’ in your own home for approximately four hours. This service will include the following:

  • Observation, assessment and assistance with a minimum of two breastfeeding sessions.

  • All of the services included in the Postnatal package.

  • We will ‘become’ your Village. It might be that you need a sleep while MLNO babysits or holds your baby while you have some “me time”. You might want to use this time also to share your thoughts, feelings and concerns at this time of major metamorphosis of you having become a Mother. Otherwise known as Matrescence.

  • FREE Pocket IBCLC for the first two weeks postpartum.
